Welcome To Río Grande
The municipality of Río Grande is located in the east of Puerto Rico, in the region called the Northern Coastal Plains, facing the Atlantic Ocean. Its territorial boundaries are to the north, the Atlantic Ocean; to the south, the municipalities of Naguabo and Las Piedras; to the east, the municipalities of Luquillo and Ceiba; and to the west, the municipalities of Loíza and Canóvanas. The territory in its entirety reaches about 61 square miles for a total of 40,075 acres, with an average height of 30 feet above sea level.
